Utility Porter (Custodial)

Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred
- Floor maintenance experience preferred
- Custodial knowledge
- Computer literacy
- Basic mechanical knowledge
- Good communication skills
- Ability to reach, bend, stoop, wipe, push and pull
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Must have sufficient mobility to perform assigned tasks with production and service time frames as established by the company
- Ability to work with various temperatures extreme from hot to cold
Responsibilities
- Maintenance of all floor areas
- Sustaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation
- Remove spots on carpets
- Operate floor sweepers, buffers, strippers and other equipment as needed to keep the floors aesthetically pleasing and free from obstructions
- Work with department management team to ensure adequate supply of products and chemicals are readily available for staff use
- Communicate effectively in regards to requests, work orders and any other element of the job
- Provide assistance for building emergencies (such as fire/flood clean-up, snow/ice removal, etc.) during and after working hours
