About The Position

This role involves operating and maintaining utility plant systems. The essential functions include sitting for 60% of the time, walking for 20%, and standing for 20%. The work environment is primarily indoors (95%) with occasional outdoor tasks (5%) for errands. Physical demands include frequent lifting of objects weighing less than 5 pounds and occasional lifting of objects weighing 75 pounds or more. The role requires reaching for objects at, above, and below shoulder level, and occasional twisting and stretching at the waist. Basic math, reading, writing, and keyboard skills are necessary for understanding documents and preparing reports. Sensory skills including visual, hearing, and speaking are also important.
