We sell, rent and service a wide-variety of equipment Including Large and Small Construction Tractors, Forklifts, and Prime/Stand-by-Power Generation. THIS POSITION IS LOCATED IN Stockton, CA. POSITION SUMMARY Assist the service department in the shop and yard.

Requirements

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
Ability to write simple correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide.
Ability to fulfill the essential functions in a consistent state of alertness and safe manner.
Ability to perform operations using weight measurement, volume, and distance.
Ability to apply to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral instructions.
Ability to problem solve involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
High school or GED and one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must have a valid class C driver license and a clean DMV report.

Responsibilities

Perform monthly safety inspections including Forklift inspections, shop safety inspection, eyewash station inspection, fire extinguisher inspections, and lifting chain inspections.
Check expiration dates on all certificates (air tanks, cranes, operating permits, etc.) and implements.
Manage inventory control on the Tool Room: Clean and organize tools, supplies and tool room daily, check tools and supplies in and out, note and repair damaged tooling, provide an initial and updated tool inventory list, and schedule tooling certification and calibration as required.
Perform contamination control duties: Conduct CCC Inspections, complete CCC projects as assigned including cleaning oil spills, painting safety lines and areas, restocking CCC supplies, and inspecting the CCC clean room daily.
Perform other duties as assigned.
