Requirements
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to write simple correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide.
Ability to fulfill the essential functions in a consistent state of alertness and safe manner.
Ability to perform operations using weight measurement, volume, and distance.
Ability to apply to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral instructions.
Ability to problem solve involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
High school or GED and one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Valid class C driver license and a clean DMV report.
Responsibilities
Perform monthly safety inspections including forklift inspections, shop safety inspections, eyewash station inspections, fire extinguisher inspections, and lifting chain inspections.
Check expiration dates on all certificates (air tanks, cranes, operating permits, etc.) and implements.
Manage inventory control on the tool room daily, including cleaning and organizing tools, supplies, and the tool room.
Check tools and supplies in and out, note and repair damaged tooling, and provide initial and updated tool inventory lists.
Schedule tooling certification and calibration as required.
Perform contamination control duties daily, including CCC inspections and CCC projects.
Conduct cleaning of oil spills, painting safety lines and areas, restocking CCC supplies, and inspecting the CCC clean room daily.
