About The Position

As a Utility Person at JLL, you will help ensure a client facility in Pasadena operates smoothly and safely. Working with the Facility Manager and Facility Maintenance Engineer, you will perform semi-skilled maintenance tasks, manage warehouse stock and supplies, and support daily operations to maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment. This hands-on position contributes to service delivery and operational excellence.

The position is on-site in Pasadena, California, and works Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Compensation is listed as $28.84 per hour, with an expected annual compensation range of $60,000 to $60,320. The position does not provide visa sponsorship; candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in facility maintenance, warehouse operations, or production support.
• Experience using general hand tools, troubleshooting basic issues, and completing minor repairs.
• Experience operating forklifts and mobile equipment.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry objects weighing 25 pounds or more.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to remain professional under pressure.
• Ability to multitask and work independently or with minimal supervision.
• Authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preventive maintenance on HVAC systems and other site equipment.
• Perform light building maintenance, including filter replacement, carpentry, painting, plumbing, and waste management.
• Maintain spare and replacement parts inventories and stock parts, equipment, tools, and supplies for maintenance and housekeeping departments.
• Receive, process, and organize warehouse stock products by picking, unloading, labeling, and storing them.
• Collect and properly dispose of production waste and recycling according to site standards.
• Coordinate with vendors, facilities staff, and service providers to minimize disruption to client operations.
• Operate maintenance and cleaning equipment, including general hand tools, floor scrubbers, forklifts, and pallet jacks.
