About The Position

Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. This role operates and assists with mobile and stationary equipment to support quarry production activities. It involves performing routine maintenance, inspections, and basic repairs on equipment and plant systems. The position also includes loading, moving, and stockpiling materials to ensure smooth daily operations, and maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with company standards. Support for team members across multiple functions to meet production and safety goals is also a key aspect of this role.

Requirements

• Ability to safely operate or learn to operate heavy equipment in a quarry environment
• Strong commitment to safety, reliability, and teamwork
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment and adapt to changing priorities
• Effective communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving mindset
• Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check
• Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing
