About The Position

Alleguard is a leader in Protective Foam Solutions, dedicated to shaping and expanding customer businesses across various industries such as construction, protective packaging, and cold-chain. The Utility position supports production and repack operations by physically moving products and other materials. This role involves using equipment like manual pallet jacks and forklifts, maintaining machinery such as cut tables, glue and poly machines, and operating grinders. The position also includes labeling and packaging materials.

Requirements

Hardworking and enthusiastic personality.
Must be minimum of 18 years of age.
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
Able to manage and set priorities in a changing environment.
High degree of self-motivation and flexibility.

Nice To Haves

Experience with manual pallet jack, forklift, or other equipment.
Experience maintaining cut tables, running glue and poly machines.
Experience running grinders.

Responsibilities

Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments, material and equipment needs.
Record numbers of units handled and moved using daily production sheets or work tickets.
Attach identifying tags to containers or mark them with identifying information.
Maintain an organized and clean work area.
Perform duties in compliance with all safety policies and practices.
Compliance with legal environmental and safety requirements of the area.
Know the environmental aspects of the area and its control.
Know the environmental impacts associated with their activities.
Follow environmental and safety policies.
Comply with procedures, regulations, and instruction of environmental and safety programs.
Other duties as assigned.
