Utility Operator - 2nd Shift

About The Position

Alleguard is seeking a Utility Operator for the 2nd Shift to support production and repack operations. This role involves moving products and materials throughout the facility, transporting them to and from various areas using manual labor or equipment like pallet jacks and forklifts. The operator will also assist with maintaining cut tables, operating glue and poly machines, labeling and packaging materials, and running grinders.

Responsibilities

Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments, material and equipment needs.
Record numbers of units handled and moved using daily production sheets or work tickets.
Attach identifying tags to containers or mark them with identifying information.
Maintain an organized and clean work area.
Perform duties in compliance with all safety policies and practices.
Compliance with legal environmental and safety requirements of the area.
Know the environmental aspects of the area and its control.
Know the environmental impacts associated with their activities.
Follow environmental and safety policies.
Comply with procedures, regulations, and instruction of environmental and safety programs.
Other duties as assigned.
