Utility Operator
About The Position
Charlotte Pipe and Foundry, located in Cameron, TX, is looking for a Utility/Grinder with a proven track record to join our team. Charlotte Pipe and Foundry is a leading manufacturer of pipe and fittings. We are the only manufacturer that offers a complete system of cast iron, PVC, CPVC, ABS and FlowGuard Gold® pipe and fittings for residential and commercial plumbing systems and industrial applications. Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Ability to work 12-hour, day shift
- Ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds
- Submit to and successfully complete background check and pre-employment drug test
Responsibilities
- Separate material based on color
- Operate forklift (pick up material to be ground at molding machines)
- Load conveyors
- Operate grinding machines
- Perform daily preventative maintenance on grinding machines and conveyors
- Keep work area and equipment up to 5S housekeeping standards
- Maintain constant state of alertness and ability to safely perform job duties
- Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor
