About The Position

Arcadis is seeking a Utility Management Lead to join their team in the Southeast US. This role involves leading a team of utility coordinators and overseeing the utility management process for roadway and other infrastructure improvement projects. The team will be responsible for identifying existing utility locations, potential conflicts, supporting avoidance activities, and managing adjustments, relocations, and new installations required for transportation projects. The lead may personally oversee coordination on key projects and support their team on multiple projects, coordinating with transportation design teams regarding utility impacts. This position offers the flexibility of remote work, with the potential need to visit the Atlanta office up to once per month.

Requirements

  • Associates or relevant technical degree
  • 15 or more years of experience in utility coordination or related fields
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office
  • Thorough understanding of Georgia DOT’s Utility Accommodation Policy and Standards
  • Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
  • Experience with utility coordination on GDOT or local County projects

Responsibilities
