Full Time Utility Locator Technicians - OFFERING BONUSES
About The Position
Olameter is seeking Utility Locator Technicians in the Fargo, ND area. This role involves working outdoors under the direction of a company supervisor to visually inspect construction areas, read and interpret utility maps, and use specialized electronic equipment to locate and protect underground utilities such as gas, electric, water, cable, and sewer. While experienced locators are preferred, inexperienced candidates are also encouraged to apply. The company is one of the largest meter servicing companies in North America, providing services to over 300 utility companies across 30 states and provinces.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license
- Subject to random drug testing in compliance with DOT guidelines upon employment

Responsibilities
- Perform visual inspection of predefined construction areas.
- Read and interpret utility maps to determine the presence of underground utilities.
- Use special electronic equipment to locate and protect utilities from damage.
- Identify utilities including gas, electric, water, cable, and sewer.
