About The Position

The Utility/Janitorial Supervisor oversees daily janitorial operations across assigned locations and performs and supervises cleaning of floors, carpets, restrooms, service rooms, and common areas. The role responds promptly to janitorial and sanitation callouts, ensures proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment, manages waste, recycling, and laundry processes, and keeps supplies and inventory stocked. The supervisor addresses cleanliness issues, assigns and inspects staff work, corrects deficiencies, communicates with staff and clients, and travels between locations as required.

The position offers a full-time schedule with availability Monday through Sunday, including flexible evening and weekend hours and on-call availability for urgent cleaning needs. The hourly pay rate is $22.00. The role is with 4M Building Solutions, a janitorial and cleaning services company headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri, with operations in more than 30 states and 8,000 associates.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Janitorial or facilities cleaning experience is required.
• Knowledge of sanitation, disinfecting, and floor and carpet care.
• Successful drug screening and background check.
• Reliable transportation.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and locations.
• Strong attention to detail and accountability.
• Physically able to perform cleaning duties.

Nice To Haves

• Some supervisory experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Communicate professionally with staff and clients to resolve cleanliness concerns.
• Travel between locations as required.
