Requirements
- Associate's Degree in Civil Engineering Technology OR 10 years relevant experience.
- Experience with CAD drafting, inspection, or survey work (six months minimum).
- Basic experience with word processing and spreadsheets.
- Ability to work in the field, follow safety standards, and operate a City vehicle.
Nice To Haves
- Autodesk AutoCAD experience.
Responsibilities
- Collect and document field data for water, sewer, and stormwater systems.
- Assist with inspections, flow tests, pressure investigations, and GIS-related tasks.
- Prepare basic maps, drawings, and utility plans using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and ESRI GIS.
- Verify and update infrastructure locations, assets, and project information.
- Support construction inspections, recordkeeping, and coordination with engineers and project managers.
