Full-time Utility/Dishwasher at Scotia Village, a division of Kintura. Requirements

Ability to operate dishwasher
Ability to pre-rinse, soak, and pre-soak dishes
Ability to keep dish area clean
Ability to store dishes, chinaware, and flatware properly
Ability to remove, clean, and sterilize refuse cans
Ability to clean dish machine and chinaware equipment
Ability to sweep and mop kitchen, dining area, and hallways
Ability to clean walk-in refrigerators and freezers
Ability to wash, rinse, and store pots, pans, and serving utensils
Ability to dispose of food items properly
Ability to assist in stocking shelves in dry storage, freezers, and walk-in coolers
Ability to store serving trays
Ability to place chinaware and glassware in appropriate areas
Ability to deliver, retrieve, and clean food carts
Ability to check dish machine for chemical supplies
Ability to rack trays and dishes
Ability to clean shelves and racks
Ability to check temperature in compartment sink and dish machine
Ability to clean floor drains, mop and scrub loading dock and outside area
Ability to hose down and clean trash dumpsters
Ability to assist in lifting heavy items
Ability to sweep and clean break room
Ability to keep walls, ceilings, and vents clean

Responsibilities

Operate dishwasher: pre-rinse dishes; soak and pre-soak dishes.
Keep entire dish area clean.
Store dishes, chinaware and flatware properly.
Remove, clean and properly sterilize refuse cans.
Clean dish machine and chinaware equipment.
Sweep and mop entire kitchen, dining area and hallways.
Clean walk-in refrigerators and freezers.
Wash, rinse and store pots, pans and serving utensils.
Dispose of unwanted, unusable portions of food items properly.
Assist in storing and stocking shelves in dry storage, freezers and walk-in coolers.
Store serving trays in serving line as needed.
Place necessary chinaware and glassware in appropriate areas.
Deliver, retrieve and clean food carts to floors for residents.
Check dish machine daily for needed chemical supplies.
Rack trays and dishes after washing and rinsing to dry properly.
Clean shelves and racks for storage of all chinaware and utensils on a daily basis.
Check temperature in compartment sink and dish machine daily.
Clean all floor drains, mop and scrub loading dock and outside area.
Hose down and clean trash dumpsters.
Assist waitresses or supervisors in lifting heavy items.
Sweep and clean the break room at the close of each day.
Keep walls, ceilings, vents clean.
