About The Position

Apex Companies is looking for a Utility Construction Foreman (Stormwater) to play a key role in leading stormwater infrastructure projects. If you have experience in stormwater utilities, water/wastewater, industrial, or commercial site construction, we want to hear from you! This is a full-time position with a schedule of 40-55 hours per week, requiring regional travel typically 85% or more through a company vehicle. Requirements

5-7 years of underground wet utility construction experience is required.
Prior experience with repair and construction of stormwater infrastructure, concrete structures, rebar and concrete finishing, underground piping, and detention/retention basins is required.
Ability to operate heavy equipment (Skid Loader, Mini-Excavator, etc.)
Ability to manage budgets, timelines, and staff.
Ability to do frequent out-of-town regional travel (85% or more travel required)
Candidates must pass a pre-employment background check, motor vehicle record check, and drug screening.
Valid driver's license, safe driving record, and a reliable method of transportation.
Able to perform manual labor, lift and carry 60 pounds, work in confined spaces, and under inclement weather conditions.

Responsibilities

Construct and Repair Critical Stormwater Infrastructure: Work on essential underground utilities, concrete structures, and stormwater basins across the central states, ensuring communities are safe and resilient.
Operate Advanced Construction Equipment: Utilize a range of tools, from hand-held and power tools to heavy machinery like skid loaders, excavators, and dozers, showcasing your technical expertise.
Travel and Explore: Embrace the opportunity to travel during the week, exploring new locations while making a significant impact on various projects.
Contribute to Project Success: Document field observations to aid in project success and drive continuous improvement, ensuring our projects are always top-notch.
