About The Position

The Utility Clerk/Bagger provides prompt, efficient, and outstanding customer service. Key duties include bagging customer purchases, providing carryout services, and gathering shopping carts from the parking lot to return them to the store. The role also involves maintaining store cleanliness by cleaning up spills, cleaning and stocking restrooms, and ensuring bag racks are full with overstock returned to its proper place. The position requires assisting customers, facing merchandise, answering calls for price checks, cleaning general shopping areas, and restocking back shop merchandise. Additional tasks include climbing ladders/stair towers for restocking and cleaning, and cleaning the parking lot.

Ability to lift up to 30 lbs 6-8 times per shift

Responsibilities

Provides prompt, efficient and outstanding customer service

Cleans up miscellaneous spills throughout the store
Cleans restrooms and keeps them well stocked with toilet paper, soap and paper towels
Keeps bag racks full and returns overstock to its proper place
Assists customers
Bags groceries
Faces merchandise in the store
Answers calls for price checks/spills
Carries out groceries
Cleans general shopping areas
Restocks back shop merchandise
Climbs ladders/stair tower to restock and clean
Cleans Parking lot
Collects carts
Retrieves carts
Cleans restrooms
