About The Position
The Utility Aide performs a variety of tasks to maintain the quality, cleanliness, and ongoing sanitation of dish room and food service production areas. The role includes washing pots, dishes, and equipment; completing dish-room tasks such as cleaning carts and loading and unloading the dishwasher; mopping and sanitizing food preparation floors; assisting with special cleaning projects; and performing other related duties as required. The work is labor intensive and requires standing for up to six hours at a time.
Requirements
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
- Wear appropriate shoes and personal protective equipment (gloves) in food service areas to help avoid injury.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or GED.
- Additional languages are a plus.
