About The Position

The Utility Associate supports Brock & Company’s corporate dining team by maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming kitchen and dining area. The role includes washing and sanitizing equipment and service ware, receiving and distributing deliveries, removing trash, and maintaining floors. The associate follows supervisor instructions, applicable health and food-handling regulations, and client and company COVID-19 workplace safety and sanitation protocols. The position also requires providing courteous, helpful, and friendly customer service. Meals and uniforms are provided. Full-time employees are eligible for benefits.

Requirements

Must be able to stand for extended periods.
Must be able to lift and move food, food containers, and other non-food items from floor level to no higher than the employee’s own height.
Adhere to applicable health, safety, food-handling, and workplace sanitation protocols.

Responsibilities

Wash, sanitize, and maintain food production equipment and service ware according to supervisor direction and the cleaning schedule.
Remove trash and waste as directed by the supervisor and take it to the designated location.
Maintain a clean and safe work area in accordance with supervisor instructions and applicable health, safety, and food-handling regulations.
Receive, unpack, unwrap, rotate, and store deliveries in appropriate refrigerators, freezers, and storerooms according to supervisor instructions.
Maintain a clean and organized workstation, including kitchen and dining-room sanitation and floor maintenance.
Provide exceptional customer service in a courteous, helpful, and friendly manner.
Follow client and company protocols related to COVID-19 workplace safety and sanitation standards.
