About The Position

OcyonBio is a partnership development and manufacturing organization focused on advancing gene and cell therapies. Requirements

  • Associate degree in technical field or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years in GMP-regulated environment.
  • Experience with critical utilities.
  • Knowledge of GMP utility systems.
  • Understanding of cGMP documentation practices.
  • Ability to read P&IDs and technical drawings.
  • Hands-on mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with CMMS and BMS.
  • Ability to work in a multi-skilled technician environment.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Valid Electrician or Refrigeration Technician License (Puerto Rico).
  • Experience in industrial or GMP environments.
  • Role requires work beyond licensed trade.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain HVAC, chilled water, potable water, electrical, BMS, compressed air, and nitrogen systems.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot utility systems and implement repairs.
  • Ensure compliance with FDA, EMA, and cGMP requirements.
  • Document work using CMMS.
  • Support validation and commissioning activities.
  • Maintain logs and audit-ready documentation.
  • Respond to alarms and emergency situations.
