About The Position
BAE Systems, Inc. is currently recruiting for a Wastewater Operator for the Radford Army Ammunition Plant in Radford, VA. In this role, you will perform checks of pump stations, sanitary sewage pumps, industrial waste pump stations and water storage tanks; obtain outfall samples and perform chemical analysis. Successful candidate will also be able to press sludge and operate the sanitary and acid neutralization plants. All testing and tasks shall be performed in accordance with established operating procedures, safety/environmental policies and regulatory permits.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum Class III Wastewater License as recognized through the State of Virginia's DPOR.
Nice To Haves
- Class II Wastewater License as recognized through the State of Virginia's DPOR.
Responsibilities
