The City of Chandler Public Works & Utilities Department is seeking qualified individuals for the position of Utilities Maintenance & Reliability Supervisor. This role involves the day-to-day supervision of Public Works and Utilities maintenance management. The supervisor will utilize Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) and Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) systems to plan, schedule, and coordinate maintenance activities, aiming to maximize uptime and equipment reliability. Key responsibilities include providing technical guidance, assigning work, and training staff. The Utilities Division is responsible for operating and maintaining the City's water treatment plant, 32 groundwater wells, 19 reservoir/booster station facilities, and shares another water plant. The division also operates wastewater and reclaimed water infrastructure, including industrial wastewater/brine reduction and three wastewater facilities. The department treats an average of over 64 million gallons of drinking water and over 30 million gallons of wastewater per day, producing class A+ reclaimed water. Water sources include the Salt River, Verde River, Colorado River, and groundwater from extensive well field facilities. Advanced treatment processes recycle over 3 million gallons of industrial wastewater for reuse. Service is provided to residential, commercial, and industrial users through a network of 1,242 miles of water mains, 1,040 miles of sewer mains, and 92 miles of reclaimed water mains.
