About The Position

Texas A&M University is seeking Utilities Instrumentation Technicians with various levels of experience, from individuals with little experience to those with multiple years of experience. This position is located in College Station, TX, and remote work is not available. The department may contact applicants for interviews, and the recruitment process will determine the best position match for finalists. Multiple openings are available.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Seven years in instrumentation in an industrial, chemical or utility plant (for Masters level).
  • Five years of experience in instrumentation in an industrial, chemical or utility plant (for Senior level).
  • Three years of experience in instrumentation maintenance in an industrial, chemical or utility plant (for Technician level).
  • 1 year of general instrumentation, electronic or electrical experience (for Assistant level).
  • Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

  • Performing highly skilled technical work in maintenance, adjustment, calibration, and repair of pneumatic and electronic control system equipment.
  • Receiving training and performing maintenance, adjustments, calibrations, and repairs of pneumatic and electronic control system equipment (for Assistant role).
