About The Position

Texas A&M University is seeking Utilities Instrumentation Technicians with various levels of experience, from entry-level to experienced professionals. This role involves performing highly skilled technical work in the maintenance, adjustment, calibration, and repair of pneumatic and electronic control system equipment within the Utilities & Energy Services department. The department aims to be a world-class leader in utilities and energy services, fostering a culture of excellence and environmental stewardship.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Seven years in instrumentation in an industrial, chemical or utility plant (for Masters level).
  • Five years of experience in instrumentation in an industrial, chemical or utility plant (for Senior level).
  • Three years of experience in instrumentation maintenance in an industrial, chemical or utility plant (for Technician level).
  • 1 year of general instrumentation, electronic or electrical experience (for Assistant level).
  • Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

  • Performing highly skilled technical work in maintenance, adjustment, calibration and repair of pneumatic and electronic control system equipment.
