Utilities Infrastructure Project Manager (Water)

Havenpark Communities•Orem, UT

About The Position

The Utilities Infrastructure Project Manager (Water) delivers Havenpark’s water infrastructure projects—including water treatment plants, wells, storage tanks, distribution lines, and irrigation systems—on budget and by their budgeted completion dates. The role owns each assigned project from scope definition through closeout and manages engineers and contractors through completion. The water portfolio currently includes about 55 open projects totaling $9.8 million. The position is accountable for project completion. Community managers and Regional Vice Presidents stay informed and partner on access and communication, but are not responsible for completing the work. The Sr. Utilities Program Manager sets priorities and selects projects and owns compliance, operators, and utility emergency response, allowing this role to focus on projects. For critical projects and others requiring engineering for design and construction, the position manages engineers and holds them to scope, schedule, and cost. The role also reinforces Havenpark’s values and purpose-driven culture of creating caring communities. The position is primarily office-based, with site visits as needed. Travel is expected about once per quarter to visit large projects, with occasional additional travel for meetings. The employee must be able to pass a criminal background check.
