About The Position

In this role, you will budget, procure, install, and commission Utilities Projects in the plant. You will provide assistance in troubleshooting problem equipment within the Maintenance Department. You will ensure all drawings/prints are kept updated and all new equipment spare parts are set up. You will maintain plant interest in all projects for which outside or internal engineering is designing, procuring, and commissioning. HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT Development of all plant projects in which equipment changes are made to achieve production. Support Maintenance in troubleshooting, repairing, replacing problem equipment. Review all capital projects for the area assigned to ensure acceptability for production and financial justification. Arrange for adequate/proper production and maintenance training on all new equipment. Monitor all installation activity in the area assigned. Work with Project Management for all capital projects in the assigned area to ensure implementation is successful. Review all design packages (Utilities and/or Electrical) and bid documents to ensure accuracy prior to installation. Write appropriation requests for all necessary capital replacement equipment and new capital equipment in the assigned area. Assist Planner in acquiring spare parts for all new and obsolete equipment. Perform other duties as assigned. NOTE: May not be inclusive of all work required and may be updated as needed.

Requirements

  • BS in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related 4 year degree
  • 5+ years in Manufacturing
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Tire Manufacturing Industry experience
  • Experience with Utilities equipment (Chillers, Boilers, HVAC)
  • Experience with Power Distribution systems
