About The Position

AEXP Express Corporation is seeking a mail delivery driver/mail carrier to deliver mail and packages on a United States Postal Service route in Comstock, New York. The route starts on November 14, 2026. This is a full-time 1099 contractor position paying $280 per day, paid monthly. The contractor provides their own qualifying cargo van and travels approximately 72 miles per day on a 36-mile delivery route.

The schedule is six days per week, Monday through Saturday, including some federal holidays. Monday through Friday hours are 7:45 a.m.–3:45 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.–7:00 p.m.; Saturday hours are 7:45 a.m.–3:45 p.m.; and federal holiday hours are 7:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m., except on Christmas Day.

Applicants must be at least 18, have legal documentation to work in the United States and a valid driver’s license, and reside in Comstock or a neighboring town or city. They must be able to lift 70 pounds and safely drive in all types of weather. The required vehicle is a cargo van with at least 240 cubic feet of cargo capacity that is less than five years old, with minimum liability insurance.

• Candidates with cargo vans having 240 cubic feet of cargo space are preferred.
• Must be available to start immediately.

Responsibilities

• Sort mail and packages in delivery sequence for active mailboxes.
• Load mail and parcels in delivery sequence into a delivery vehicle.
• Deliver mail and packages to customer boxes along an assigned line of travel.
• Dismount when required to deliver parcels, Express mail, and other accountable mail items.
• Perform other required administrative duties.
