About The Position

AEXP Express Corporation is seeking a mail delivery driver/mail carrier to work a United States Postal Service mail route in Roseville, California. The route is scheduled to start on 10/24/2026. The contractor provides their own qualifying vehicle and is paid $330 per day as a 1099 contractor, with payment made monthly. The route is approximately 15 miles, or about 30 miles of driving per day. The full-time schedule is six days per week, Monday through Saturday, except federal holidays, from 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.; the estimated workday is 11 hours or less.

Requirements

• Have legal documentation to work in the United States.
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a valid driver's license.
• Be able to lift 70 pounds.
• Be able to work and safely drive in all types of weather conditions.
• Reside in Roseville, California, or a neighboring town or city.
• Provide a qualifying minivan or cargo van with at least 150 cubic feet of cargo capacity, less than five years old, and minimum liability insurance.
• Provide your own vehicle.

Nice To Haves

• Former USPS employees or contractors are highly recommended.
• A minivan or cargo van with at least 150 cubic feet of cargo space and no center console is recommended for passenger-side mailbox delivery; the route may be difficult without these vehicle features but is still possible.
• Be available to start immediately.

Responsibilities

• Sort mail and packages in delivery sequence for active mailboxes.
• Load mail and parcels in delivery sequence into a delivery vehicle.
• Deliver mail and packages to customer boxes along an assigned line of travel.
• Dismount when required to deliver parcels, Express mail, and other accountable mail items.
• Perform other required administrative duties.
