About The Position

AEXP Express Corporation is seeking applicants for a mail delivery driver/mail carrier on a United States Postal Service mail route in San Ysidro, NM. This is a full-time position working 6 days a week, Monday through Saturdays, including some federal holidays. The estimated daily hours are from 5:45 am to 6:45 pm, with a daily mileage of 140 miles on a 70-mile delivery route. The contractor will provide their own vehicle and will be paid $400 per day as a 1099 contractor, with monthly payments.

Requirements

• Must have legal documentation to work in the United States
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Must be able to lift 70 pounds
• Must be able to work and safely drive in all types of weather conditions
• Must reside in the area or neighboring town/city of San Ysidro, NM
• Must have a qualifying vehicle (Minivan/Cargo Van with at least 150 cubic feet of cargo capacity & less than 5 years old) and minimum liability insurance

• Candidates with Minivans and Cargo Vans with 150 cubic feet of cargo space

Responsibilities

• Sorting mail and packages in delivery sequence for active mailboxes
• Loading mail and parcels in delivery sequence into a delivery vehicle
• Delivering mail and packages to customer boxes along an assigned line-of-travel
• Dismounting if required to deliver parcels, Express mail, and other accountable mail items
• Other administrative duties are required
