About The Position

This position is for a User Support Systems Product Specialist within User Services. To be eligible, applicants must have uploaded required documentation and completed the three-year employment history on the application. The role requires a specific educational background combined with extensive IT support experience, or a degree in an IT-related field with a minimum number of years of technical support experience. Additionally, a minimum of one year of experience as an enterprise software system team lead with full lifecycle tasks is required. Applicants must also possess a valid Nevada driver's license and provide a current driving history.

Requirements

• High school graduation or other equivalent (i.e., General Educational Development)
• Eight (8) years’ work experience in progressively-detailed IT support
• Associate's degree (or two (2) years of college) in an IT-related field, such as Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science, Information Services, etc., plus, six (6) years’ work experience in progressively-detailed IT support
• Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field, plus four (4) years’ work experience in progressively-detailed technical support
• Minimum one (1) year of experience serving as an enterprise software system team lead with full lifecycle tasks, such as requirements analysis, evaluation, selection, testing, implementation, realization/go-live, and support/maintenance
• A valid driver’s license that allows the applicant/employee to legally operate a motor vehicle in Nevada. A license must be maintained for the duration of the assignment.
• Copy of current driving history (dated within six (6) months from the date printed) issued by the Department of Motor Vehicles at time of application or Qualified Selection Pool (QSP) placement and at time of interview prior to final selection.
