About The Position

We are Vista Innovative Solutions, LLC (VIS), an Alaskan backed government contracting and consulting company supporting several military installations and federal agencies across the nation. VIS is seeking an User Support Specialist to join our team and support a new mission in Rock Island, IL.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in IM field or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of work-related experience.
  • CompTIA Security+ certification.

Responsibilities

  • Review and provide written response to the customer on proposed hardware, software, and peripherals for compliance with DoD, Army requirements and standards, such as central purchase, standardization, net worthiness, interoperability, minimum specifications, licensing, and maintenance.
  • Research software, hardware, peripheral, and multimedia solutions for customers and provide recommendations for Government approval.
  • Identify possible purchasing sources and obtain quotes, starting with Army Computer Hardware Enterprise Software and Solutions (CHESS) and proceeding to other sources as needed. Assist customers within ASC by obtaining quotes via CHESS or assisting customers with CHESS
  • Update and publish forms and publications on SharePoint. Edit new forms and publications to ensure they are formatted and in Compliance. Create new forms using Adobe LiveCycle Designer.
  • Capture and record customers processes, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP). Create and publish documentation in a variety of formats such as manuals, formal business process documentation and diagrams, checklists, quick reference guides, frequently asked questions (FAQs) and other job aids.
  • Assist with collection of data and operational metrics to support customers reporting and taskers.
  • Manage membership, email distribution lists as requested by list POCs. Initiate creation and deletion of distribution lists and organizational mailboxes as requested by customers. Initiate provisioning, de-provisioning, and account downgrading during customer in processing and out-processing. Attend DISA’s customer outreach sessions to stay current on changing trends.
