About The Position

Pason is a leading technology company serving the drilling industry with high-value hardware, software, and customer support solutions. We are known for our open, friendly, and respectful culture—one that encourages curiosity, collaboration, and the freedom to do your best work. We’re looking for a UX Designer who is energized by talking to customers, uncovering complex workflows, and turning them into simple, thoughtful experiences. This is a role for someone who brings strong design craft, sharp problem-solving, and a genuine interest in how people work in the real world. The UX team works within Pason’s Research and Development (R&D) department and is responsible for product research and design. Our motto is Technology Deployed Simply, and this role brings that idea to life. You’ll collaborate with project teams and fellow designers to create interfaces that are intuitive, practical, and easy to use in high-stress environments. You’ll also spend time with customers in offices and on drilling rigs across North America, so a love of user research—and a willingness to get out into the field—is essential.
