About The Position

Kearney & Company is seeking a User Experience Data Analyst to join our team supporting one of the Federal government’s largest agencies! This role involves developing reports and dashboards, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and communicating project updates. The position requires strong analytical, communication, and customer service skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. The role also includes directing and reviewing the work of Associates and communicating project status to the Team Lead and client.

Requirements

  • BA/BS/BBA degree from an accredited college/university
  • Minumum 4 years of progressive, relevant experience using leading data visualization technologies (Tableau, Qlik, Power BI, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of user design experience
  • Experience with using programming languages like PySpark, SQL or low code to process data in preparation for dashboards/visualizations
  • Ability to train clients and other team members on implementation and maintenance
  • Ability to work in-person 2 days per week in the Alexandria VA area
  • Must have an active Interim Secret Clearance at minimum (requires US citizenship)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with DoW’s War Data Platform (previously Advana)
  • Familiarity with Palantir Foundry development and reporting
  • Certification in relevant platforms (e.g. Tableau, Power BI, Palantir Foundry, Microsoft Power Platform, Salesforce, ServiceNow)
  • Experience developing applications on enterprise platforms
  • Understanding of application lifecycle, platform governance, and integration patterns
  • Experience with scripting (Python, SQL, TypeScript, and Palantir), automation, or low-code tools used within platform environments
  • Highly proficient skills in MS Excel
  • Experience with developing, reporting, and tracking Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Responsibilities

  • Development of reports and dashboards within Foundry.
  • Working closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, procurement, and IT, to understand report requirements.
  • Demonstrating excellent writing and communication skills as significant time is spent reviewing report requirements, briefing updates to clients, and supporting the documentation and training for new reports.
  • Demonstrating strong customer service skills and the ability to work in occasional high-pressure situations with short deadlines.
  • Directing and reviewing the work of Associates.
  • Communicating status of project-related tasks to Team Lead and client.
