About The Position

Labcorp is seeking a remote User Acceptance Tester III (Senior) to join our team. This role involves leading and executing complex User Acceptance Testing (UAT) initiatives for high-impact system implementations. The position requires defining and documenting detailed business requirements, developing UAT strategies, and performing end-to-end and integration testing to ensure solutions meet business, functional, and technical requirements. The User Acceptance Tester III will analyze system enhancements, identify and track defects, validate systems using various methodologies, and document test results. This role also involves monitoring post-production performance, troubleshooting issues, and serving as a subject matter expert for business users. Collaboration with business analysts, developers, and leadership is key, as is leading release activities and status updates. Additionally, the role includes mentoring junior team members, identifying risks, and driving continuous improvement. Support for user adoption through documentation, training, and demonstrations is also expected.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of experience in User Acceptance Testing and system validation.

  • Proficiency in data analysis, SQL, and testing tools (e.g., Selenium, QC/ALM)
  • Experience with web services and data formats (e.g., JSON, EDI X12, HL7)
  • Strong understanding of Revenue Cycle Management in healthcare, including HIPAA

Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute complex User Acceptance Testing (UAT) initiatives for high-impact system implementations
  • Define and document detailed business requirements in collaboration with business and IT stakeholders
  • Develop and own UAT strategies, test plans, and execution for large-scale, cross-functional projects
  • Perform end-to-end and integration testing to ensure solutions meet business, functional, and technical requirements
  • Analyze system enhancements to assess process impact, financial implications, and technical performance
  • Identify, track, and manage defects, including severity, frequency, and resolution
  • Validate systems using data analysis, testing tools, and established methodologies
  • Document test results, present findings, and obtain stakeholder approval
  • Monitor post-production performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure system stability
  • Partner closely with business analysts, developers, and leadership to resolve issues and clarify requirements
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and advocate for business users throughout the testing lifecycle
  • Lead release activities, status updates, and project discussions as needed
  • Coordinate testing efforts across multiple analysts and projects
  • Mentor and support junior team members, including reviewing test plans and strategies
  • Identify risks, recommend solutions, and drive continuous improvement and standardization efforts
