Honda of Oxnard is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Used Vehicle Technician to join our service team. Requirements
- Experience as a lube tech or used car/recon technician preferred
- Strong knowledge of basic automotive repair and maintenance
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Own tools preferred
- High School graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older required.
Nice To Haves
- Smog certifications are a plus, but not required
Responsibilities
- Perform multi-point inspections on used vehicles
- Complete reconditioning work including brakes, tires, fluid services, and general maintenance
- Identify needed repairs to bring vehicles up to retail standards
- Perform basic diagnostics and minor mechanical repairs
- Ensure all vehicles meet safety and quality standards before sale
- Work closely with service advisors and used car managers
