Responsibilities

  • Inspect, diagnose, repair, and recondition pre-owned vehicles to ensure they meet dealership and manufacturer standards.
  • Thoroughly inspect used vehicles for maintenance, safety concerns, and repair needs.
  • Test-drive vehicles and evaluate performance using diagnostic equipment and specialized tools.
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, drivability, and performance issues accurately.
  • Identify repair recommendations and document findings clearly.
  • Perform repairs and maintenance efficiently and in accordance with dealership standards.
  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, suspension, HVAC, and electrical systems.
  • Complete manufacturer warranty repairs according to factory specifications when applicable.
  • Ensure all repairs meet quality and safety standards before vehicle delivery.
  • Work closely with Used Vehicle Service Advisors and management teams.
  • Communicate repair recommendations and vehicle conditions clearly and professionally.
  • Document repair procedures and inspection results accurately.
  • Maintain a productive and positive working relationship with technicians, advisors, and management.
  • Deliver high-quality workmanship with attention to detail.
  • Help ensure customers receive reliable, fully reconditioned vehicles.
  • Maintain productivity while meeting dealership quality standards.
  • Contribute to a positive customer ownership experience through thorough vehicle preparation.
