About The Position
TDR Auto Plaza is seeking a skilled and motivated Used Car Technician to help ensure our pre-owned inventory meets the highest standards of quality, safety, and reliability. If you take pride in your work, have strong diagnostic and repair skills, and enjoy working in a fast-paced dealership environment, we'd like to hear from you.
Requirements
- Previous automotive technician experience required.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
- Knowledge of domestic and import vehicle systems.
- Ability to perform repairs independently and efficiently.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a shop environment.
Nice To Haves
- NYS Inspector License preferred (if applicable).
- ASE certifications are a plus but not required.
Responsibilities
- Perform inspections on used vehicle inventory.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns.
- Complete reconditioning and repair work efficiently and accurately.
- Conduct routine maintenance services, including oil changes, brakes, tires, and fluid services.
- Perform safety inspections and ensure vehicles meet dealership standards.
- Document repairs and recommendations clearly.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
