About The Position

Kendall Auto Group is one of the largest family owned and operated dealers in the Pacific Northwest and premier employer in Central Oregon. We are looking for a Used Vehicle Technician/Mechanic to join our service team. At Kendall Ford Bend, our Service Department is a fast-paced environment serving clients throughout the community.

Requirements

Mechanical or tech experience at a dealership or large independent shop.
Ability to operate a wide variety of vehicles both automatic and manual transmissions.
A valid driver license and good driving record.

Responsibilities

Inspecting, diagnosing, and identifying work that needs to be completed on various vehicles.
Performing adjustments and calibrations, replenishing fluids, disassembling and reassembling vehicle components, and repairing or replacing parts.
Using independent judgment needed to make decisions.
Documenting all work and hours per manufacturer and Kendall policies.
Road testing all vehicles to ensure quality of work and issues resolution.
