About The Position
Kendall Auto Group is seeking a motivated, experienced, and energetic Used Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to join their team. This role involves performing safety inspections, diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on internal dealership vehicles to ensure they are reliable, safe, and high-quality for customers. The position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of makes, models, and year ranges, expanding skill sets and performing a wide range of repairs in a shop environment. Requirements
- Mechanical or tech experience at a dealership or large independent shop.
- Ability to operate a wide variety of vehicles both automatic and manual transmissions.
- A valid driver license and good driving record are required.
Nice To Haves
- ASE certifications are a plus but not required.
Responsibilities
- Receiving and carrying-out Repair Orders.
- Performing diagnostic services and troubleshooting to determine repair needs.
- Performing high quality and efficient repair services for various automotive systems, including engine, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
- Completing all required paperwork and documentation for repair services.
- Maintaining organized, clean workspace and accounting for dealership and personal tools at all times.
- Performing Quality Control checks for repaired vehicles to ensure repairs are complete.
