Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of automotive sales management experience required
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales objectives
- Heavy knowledge of the current used car market
- Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills
- Experience desking deals and managing sales processes
- Ability to motivate and develop a high-performing sales team
- Professional appearance and excellent customer service skills
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience as a Used Car Sales Manager preferred
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and motivate the Used Car Sales team to achieve monthly sales goals
- Recruit, train, and develop Sales Consultants
- Monitor sales performance, productivity, and customer satisfaction
- Desk deals and assist with negotiations
- Work closely with the inventory and purchasing teams to maintain the right mix of pre-owned vehicles
- Help maximize gross profit while ensuring an outstanding customer experience
- Ensure compliance with dealership policies and manufacturer standards
- Collaborate with the Finance Department to improve deal flow and customer satisfaction
- Analyze sales reports and implement strategies to improve performance
- Foster a positive, professional, and accountable team culture
