Chapman Value Center of Scottsdale is seeking a Vehicle Inspector to join our team. In this role, you will perform detailed inspections of pre-owned vehicles purchased by our Buying Center and trade-in vehicles, documenting their overall condition and identifying any necessary repairs or maintenance. This position works closely with service technicians and reports directly to the Service Manager. The ideal candidate has strong automotive knowledge, excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work.

Requirements

1 year previous experience required
Knowledge of vehicle systems across various makes and models
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Valid Arizona driver's license with a clean driving record
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check

Responsibilities

Inspect purchased vehicles and trade-in vehicles for damage, wear, and maintenance needs
Complete detailed inspection reports documenting vehicle condition and recommended repairs
Identify cosmetic and mechanical concerns prior to vehicle distribution
Collaborate with service technicians to communicate inspection findings
Maintain accuracy and consistency in all inspection documentation
Work efficiently to meet production goals and deadlines
Follow company safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment
