In this role, you will represent a wide range of used truck products and services while working to expand Kriete’s customer base within your territory. Training and support are provided to help you succeed, including OEM and industry certifications.

Requirements

  • Proven ability to build relationships and close sales in a B2B or consultative sales environment
  • Professional, enthusiastic, and solution-oriented approach to sales and customer service
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent time management, organization, and follow-through
  • Familiarity with Class 6, 7, and 8 trucks and related specs is highly preferred
  • Comfortable making cold calls and developing new leads
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and different CRM platforms
  • Social media and digital communication skills are a plus
  • Salesperson license required (training provided)
  • CDL not required, but highly desirable
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum 3–5 years of sales experience, preferably in the truck, equipment, or automotive industry

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field highly desirable
  • Prior experience selling used vehicles or related commercial equipment preferred, but not required
  • OEM product knowledge and dealership experience are a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales of used trucks from medium- and heavy-duty brands such as Volvo, Mack, Hino, and other commercial vehicle lines.
  • Identify and engage new prospects through cold calling, referrals, networking, and territory research.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring ongoing satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Refer and promote other Kriete offerings, including full-service leasing and new truck options when appropriate.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from lead development to closing and post-sale follow-up.
  • Conduct needs analysis with prospective customers to recommend the right solutions.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and follow up consistently with all prospects and accounts.
  • Collaborate closely with internal departments to coordinate financing, delivery, and documentation.
  • Stay up to date on inventory, pricing programs, industry trends, and competitor offerings.
  • Meet or exceed individual and departmental sales targets.
  • Attend internal training, OEM certification sessions, and industry events as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Sales Manager.
