About The Position

This position is responsible for processing donated goods in a timely manner to ensure retail stores have a sufficient supply of merchandise. The role involves performing daily tasks essential to the operation of a retail sales environment.

Responsibilities

• Loading, unloading, sorting, inspecting, completing forms, pricing, tagging, hanging, packaging, and delivering soft and hard goods.
• Processing store returns and preparing them for shipment back to the main plant.
• Working efficiently to meet production goals.
• Performing housekeeping duties such as dusting fixtures and furniture, organizing merchandise, arranging racks, maintaining neat shelves, and sweeping floors, including restrooms.
• Receiving work and safety instructions and responding to questions.
• Communicating with management, co-workers, program participants, and the public.
• Assisting in training employees and program participants as required.
• Potentially operating a cash register, making change, completing credit card transactions, arranging monies for safekeeping, and answering the telephone and responding to customer inquiries.
• Potentially assisting customers by answering questions and directing them to dressing rooms.
