Retail Store Processor
About The Position
The Retail Store Processor is responsible for the general maintenance of the store, including all janitorial duties. This position also responds to the donation door and fulfills Goodwill's mission statement by working with individuals who have disabilities and/or barriers to employment, demonstrating a positive role model, and displaying commitment and involvement towards Goodwill's mission. The role requires sorting through donations such as household items, games, toys, holiday items, wares, and other miscellaneous donations, as well as hanging clothing, tagging textiles, pricing items, and following procedures for identified salvage.

Responsibilities
- Provide for general maintenance of store, which includes all janitorial duties at location.
- Respond to donation door.
- Sort through donations and place into gender categories.
- Sort all goods brought to goods area into categories: Household, Games, Toys, Holiday items, Miscellaneous.
- Hang clothing and textiles on rack and tag, if needed, quantity and gender, date.
- Price good item in two places.
- Salvage unusable donation and label as such “salvage”.
- Meet getting rack quotas out daily.
- Separately price vintage and formal wear for sales floor.
- Do weekly productions report.
- Attend meetings as required.
- Adhere to all safety policies and reports violations.
- Support mission statement and activities of other departments.
- Follows all safety policies and fire prevention procedures.
- Adhere to all ethical standards and confidentiality of records.
- Responsible for safety and well-being of all employees.
- Support the accessibility of our services and facilities free of architectural, attitudinal, environmental, financial, communication, transportation, employment and other barriers to person with disabilities and barriers to employment.
- Provide support for helpers.
- Other duties as assigned.
