About The Position

Responsible for the day to day operations of the PACCAR Financial Used Truck location and re-marketing of PACCAR equipment. Assist in the development and implementation of the company's used equipment sales plan and supporting policies and procedures; responsible for establishing values and managing inventory. Work with the dealerships, customers and area offices, coordinating inspections and appraisals.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales of cars, trucks, equipment hardware, or related field.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated with strong time management abilities

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in financing and/or lending
  • Knowledge of the US used truck market (regional and national)
  • Multi-lingual skills

Responsibilities

  • Sell Paccar Financial Used Trucks to end customers, aiming to maximize resale values
  • Identify prospective customers and develop strategies to achieve sales goals
  • Prospect for sales opportunities via telephone, direct contact, and digital media
  • Call on prospective customers and manage assigned accounts within the territory
  • Identify finance opportunities with each customer
  • Maintain regular contact with customers to understand their requirements and stay current on market trends
  • Update the customer management system for the used truck center
  • Check in trucks assigned to the used truck center
  • Inspect and appraise the condition of used trucks proposed for trade
  • Update and maintain advertising platforms; assist with design and submission
  • Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned to support the used truck center’s goals
