About The Position

CFT Group is a growing Ottawa-based business group operating across scrap metal recycling, auto sales, trucking, self-storage, and real estate. As we expand, we regularly have heavy equipment, vehicles, and other assets available for resale — and we need a sharp, self-motivated salesperson to take full ownership of that process. You'll manage the full lifecycle of our used equipment and surplus asset sales — from listing to closing to removing sold items across all platforms. This role rewards people who are organized, professional, and hungry to perform. Top performers can expect to earn $75,000–$90,000+ annually through our quarterly performance bonus program.

Requirements

Previous experience in equipment sales, fleet remarketing, auto sales, or a related field
Excellent phone presence — professional, responsive, and persuasive
Highly organized and detail-oriented (nothing stays listed after it's sold)
Comfortable managing multiple listing platforms simultaneously
Self-starter who takes initiative without being asked
Valid driver's licence

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of heavy equipment, trucks, or automotive assets is a strong asset

Responsibilities

Listing all surplus equipment for sale — excavators, buses, trucks, trailers, and more
Managing active listings across all platforms (company website, Kijiji, Facebook Marketplace, equipment marketplaces, etc.)
Answering inbound calls and making outbound calls to qualify buyers and close sales
Coordinating equipment sales in the Toronto market
Removing sold items from all platforms promptly and accurately
Handling additional sales opportunities as they arise (used tires, parts, misc. inventory)
Keeping detailed records of listings, inquiries, and completed sales
Going above and beyond to represent CFT Group professionally at all times
