About The Position

The Used Cars Assistant will report directly to the Used Cars Manager at Cerritos VW. This role is responsible for maintaining and updating used cars inventory, packaging required documents for new inventory processing, assisting with vehicle lot organization, and generating various reports from dealership systems. The ideal candidate will have prior auto dealership experience and at least one year of office administration experience, with strong computer skills and excellent organizational abilities.

Requirements

• Excellent interpersonal and both verbal and written communications
• Ability to understand, and execute written and verbal instructions
• Strong computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Detail-oriented and strong organizational skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Able to work with minimum supervision
• Able to maintain a professional appearance

Nice To Haves

• Prior auto dealership experience highly preferred
• Minimum one year of office administration experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Responsible for maintaining and updating used cars inventory in the dealership's systems and databases
• Package required documents to correctly process new inventory
• Assist with moving inventory on the lot to ensure vehicles are correctly parked in designated areas
• Generate various reports from the dealership's systems and databases
• Performs other duties as assigned
