About The Position

The Used Cars Assistant will report directly to the Used Cars Manager at South Bay BMW. This role is responsible for maintaining and updating used cars inventory, processing new inventory documentation, organizing vehicles on the lot, and generating reports. The ideal candidate will have prior auto dealership experience and strong office administration skills.

Requirements

  • Excellent interpersonal and both verbal and written communications
  • Ability to understand, and execute written and verbal insturctions
  • Strong computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Detail-oriented and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Able to work with minimum supervision
  • Able to maintain a professional appearance

Nice To Haves

  • Prior auto dealership experience highly preferred
  • Minimum one year of office administration experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for maintaining and updating used cars inventory in the dealership's systems and databases
  • Package required documents to correctly process new inventory
  • Assist with moving inventory on the lot to ensure vehicles are correctly parked in designated areas
  • Generate various reports from the dealership's systems and databases
  • Performs other duties as assigned
