About The Position
Mission Valley Honda is seeking a skilled Used Car Technician to join their team. The technician will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections, performing necessary reconditioning services, diagnosing and repairing various vehicle systems, and documenting all work accurately. Requirements
- 5+ years of professional automotive technician experience required.
- Honda or similar brand experience.
- Understand how to perform multi-point inspections.
- Strong electronic diagnostic skills.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- High School graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older required.
Nice To Haves
- ASE certifications preferred or willingness to obtain.
Responsibilities
- Conduct multi-point inspections on used vehicles.
- Complete used vehicle reconditioning services to ensure dealership quality and safety standards.
- Diagnose and repair a variety of vehicle systems, including brakes, suspension, HVAC, electrical, and engine components.
- Accurately document inspections, repair recommendations, and completed work orders.
- Test-drive vehicles before and after repairs to verify proper operation and repair quality.
