About The Position

McCarthy CDJR- Lee's Summit is seeking an experienced Used Car Technician to join their busy service department. This role offers a steady workflow and the opportunity to advance your career with the McCarthy Auto Group. The ideal candidate will have experience in automotive mechanical diagnosis, problem-solving, and repair, as well as computer and electrical diagnosis and repair. A primary focus will be on Honda vehicles, and the technician will also be responsible for inspecting and reconditioning pre-owned vehicles.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Proven experience in automotive maintenance and repair
• Self-motivated, strong communication skills

Nice To Haves

• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification preferred but not required
• Experience Preferred

Responsibilities

• Process automotive mechanical diagnosis, problem-solving and repair
• Manage computer and electrical diagnosis, testing, and repairs on a wide variety of makes and models with Honda being primary
• Inspect and recondition pre-owned vehicles
