About The Position

McCarthy CDJR- Lee's Summit is seeking an experienced Used Car Technician to join their busy service department. This role offers a steady workflow and the opportunity to work with a reputable company within the McCarthy Auto Group. The technician will be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing automotive mechanical issues, as well as managing computer and electrical diagnostics and repairs, with a primary focus on Honda vehicles. Additionally, the role involves inspecting and reconditioning pre-owned vehicles.

Requirements

• Proven experience in automotive maintenance and repair
• High school diploma or GED.
• Self-motivated, strong communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience Preferred
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Process automotive mechanical diagnosis, problem-solving and repair experience
• Manage computer and electrical diagnosis, testing, and repairs on a wide variety of makes and models with Honda being primary.
• Inspect and recondition pre-owned vehicles
